Vectorsmith

Copy any site's logo as a clean SVG — grabbed when it's real, traced when it isn't.

Vectorsmith hero

About

A Chrome extension that turns any image on a page into a clean, editable SVG — entirely in the browser, nothing uploaded. It grabs the true SVG when a page has one, and traces raster art into genuine vector curves when it doesn't.

Point Vectorsmith at a logo, icon, screenshot, or diagram. If the page already has real vector art, it grabs the actual SVG with no quality loss; if it only has a raster (PNG, JPG, WebP, GIF), the built-in tracing engine rebuilds it as smooth cubic curves — detecting circles and ellipses as real primitives and separating colours into properly stacked layers instead of a jagged polygon soup. Colour, flat, mono, and cutout modes, a live preview with pan, zoom, and an eraser, undo/redo on every edit, and export as SVG or PNG at any scale — or straight to the clipboard. Everything runs locally; nothing is uploaded. Launching on the Chrome Web Store.
